Question:

How long does it take to build a route?

Answer:

For a route of 10 locations, a time frame of 4-8 weeks can be expected. During this time, your account will be established, your location agreements secured and delivery of your equipment will occur.

Question:

Does your program work anywhere?

Answer:

Yes. Everyone drinks sodas, gatorade, energy drinks or something that you will be offering through your machines and there are good locations no matter where you are located at.

Question:

Can I have products delivered to my home?

Answer:

Each area is unique to the procedure used to obtain the products you need to stock your equipment. Some areas offer home delivery if it is easily accessible and the large trucks can come and go without any problems. Other options would include picking up products at your local bottler or in some situations you will need to secure a storage unit for your deliveries. These units can be obtained fairly reasonably in the range of $30-$50 a month. If you are in an area where it is cold in the winter, a climate controlled unit might be required or product could be picked up at the storage unit then transported to your residence.

Question:

Can I offer "competitive" products in my machines?

Answer:

Once again, each area is unique concerning policies on competitive products. Some bottlers will allow 1 or 2 competitors products to be sold through their machines. For example, Pepsi being sold from a Coke machine. If competitive products are not allowed, we will simply provide the customer with flavors offered from the company the machines are supplied from.

Question:

Will I be selling cans or bottles?

Answer:

You will be offering both cans and bottles and the percentage of each will be determined by what the locations request.

Question:

What will I be selling my products for and how much will I make?

Answer:

Cans vend for .85 ($20.40 per case of 24) and cost around $8.50 per case. With an approximate $1 per case paid to the individual locations in commission, your total expenses per case is around $9.50 meaning you are keeping half, or more, of all the money you collect. Bottles vend for $1.50 to $1.75 ($36-$42 per case) and cost around $18 per case. The majority of products vended through your machines will be cans.

Question:

Who determines what flavors are offered in the machines?

Answer:

The customer, or location, chooses the flavors. This is done by doing a survey of employees and determining what drinks they would purchase from the machine.

Question:

How long will it take to run my route?

Answer:

Out of 10 locations, 3 or 4 will probably need to be ran weekly with the remainder serviced once every 2 weeks. With the enormous size of the 660 (holds 660 cans) it enables you to service your equipment less often saving not only gas expenses but also your time. Each machine should take around 15-20 minutes on average to restock, remove the cash and wipe the machine down with Windex. A half a day one week and a full day on week 2 is usually the normal time required to service a 12 machine route.

Question:

Will my car work to service my route from?

Answer:

Although an S.U.V., pickup or van is ideal, a car would work to service your route although you might have to "break the route up" into 2 or 3 days in order to haul the product needed to fill your equipment with.

Question:

After my purchase will I be able to turn in for additional equipment to my bottler at no additional cost to place in locations that I might come up with on my own?

Answer:

Yes. Additional equipment will be available to you to keep expanding your route.

Question:

Do I owe anything else to Soda Routes USA after I buy?

Answer:

No. After the initial purchase price, no commissions or fees are due to SRUSA.

Question:

What if I decide I want to sell my route?

Answer:

You will be able to sell your route at any time you choose. All agreements you currently have would be transferred to the new owner. A one year gross volume asking price is suggested for route value. If assistance in selling your route is needed, we are available to assist you in finding a buyer. With the demand for established vending routes, a quick sale and a nice profit could be expected.

Question:

Who owns the machines I will be using?

Answer:

The bottling company supplying the equipment maintains ownership of the machines. To purchase 10 new machines would cost approximately $45k.
